Being prepared is important. Who knows what the future may hold? From job loss to another Great Depression, a debilitating illness to the zombie apocalypse, there are an innumerable number of possible situations where being prepared could be a life saver.

Each person prepares in their own way. Sometimes it’s food storage. Sometimes it’s a garden. Sometimes it’s a bug out bag. Sometimes it’s a bug out site. Who knows? For some, it might just be stocking up on toilet paper and beer.

Whatever your definition of preparedness for you and your family, most of us aren’t as prepared as we could be, or as we would like to be.
