Anniversaries, Holidays, and Observances for February 10, 2021

Many days there are far too many anniversaries, holidays, and observances to post about individually on social media, so in an effort to have more of them available, LLPHP is going to experiment with posting them daily.   • 1855 US citizenship laws were amended so that all children of US citizen parents born abroad were granted US citizenship
  • 1863 The first US fire extinguisher patent is granted to Alanson Crane of Virginia
  • 1927 US President Calvin Coolidge asks for second disarmament conference. The conference would be held in Geneva, Switzerland and would discuss naval fleet strength between the naval powers of the era
