Many days there are far too many anniversaries, holidays, and observances to post about individually on social media, so in an effort to have more of them available, LLPHP is going to experiment with posting them daily. - International Anti-Corruption Day
- International Day of Commemoration and Dignity of the Victims of the Crime of Genocide and the Prevention of This Crime
- World Genocide Commemoration Day
- 1738: Jews were expelled from Breslau, Silesia
- 1903: The Norwegian Parliament voted unanimously for female suffrage
- 1905: The French National Assembly voted for the separation of church and state
- 1908: The German Reichstag adopted a progressive social law restricting the hours of factory work by young people and women
- 1924: The Netherlands and Hungary signed a trade agreement
- 1953: General Electric announced the firing of all Communist employees
- 1961: Tanganyika gained independence from Britain and took the name Tanzania
- 1975: Iraq completed nationalization by taking over the BP, CFP, and Shell shares of the Basrah Petroleum Company
- 1987: A Palestinian uprising begin in the Israeli-occupied West Bank
- 2014: The CIA Torture Report was released, detailing the CIA’s use of torture on detainees between 2001-2006
- 2018: A winter storm hit the Southeastern US killing three people, leaving hundreds of thousands without power, and cancelling over 1,000 flights
- 2019: The Washington Post released their analysis of the “Afghanistan Papers” stating US officials “deliberately misled” the public on the progress of the Afghanistan war and hiding that it was a lost cause
